This ‘Head Out To Sea’ tie bar is inspired by the selfless lifeboat men who go out in the Firth in any weather. Perfect for any formal occasion, this tie bar would certainly suit the part. With the highly polished lifeboat riding through the mottled silver texture of the seas.
This tie bar features the sturdy Thomas McCunn lifeboat taking on stormy seas of the Firth. The McCunn was stationed in Brims, Orkney, and saved over 300 lives during its service. It is now on display inside the same shed, now the Longhope Lifeboat Museum. 10% of the profits from this collection will be donated to the Longhope Lifeboat Museum to help with refurbishment on the premises.
Made entirely from sterling silver, this tie bar measures approximately 50mm long, 6mm high and 6mm wide.
