Zoe Davidson is an enthusiastic young jeweller who started her handmade jewellery business in 2015. Her workshop is a room extension off her own family home. After settling in her new studio, she decided to open to the public in 2016 where visitors can come see how her work is made.
In the workshop, you can browse Zoe’s latest creations, see her fold-form in action and speak to her in person.
Opening Hours:
Tuesday to Friday 10am to 5pm
COVID-19 GUIDELINES FOR VISITING
Zoe’s studio is small so can only accommodate one person or two people from the same household at one time. Please abide by Scottish Government rules by wearing a face covering, using hand sanitiser (provided at front door) and keeping your distance. Zoe’s workshop is at her family home so please do take extra care.
Directions:
By Foot:
Walk along the winding streets of Stromness on Victoria Street. Turn right up the steep hill of Church Road, past the community centre. Walk across the junction onto Christie’s Brae and follow the road up. Keep going until you see a small wooden gate on your left with “Springfield” across it. We have an old red and blue wavy house – you cannot miss it!
By Car:
On entering Stromness, you will approach the only roundabout. Exit on North End Road then turn right onto Back Road. Follow the hill up and around until you pass the Post Office (Delivery Office) on your right. After this, there will be a slight uphill and you immediately turn left onto Christie’s Brae. Follow the hill down slowly and there will be a small wooden gate to your right, this is the entrance. Please park your car on Franklin Road, which is the road at the bottom of Christie’s Brae.
