A sculptural sterling silver swirl surrounds the stone as if a wave is crashing onto the shore. A stunning piece to wear and own. Completely hand made in Orkney. Hallmarked in Edinburgh's Assay Office so you can be assured of its quality.An Aquamarine gemstone is named after the colour of seawater. The term aquamarine comes from a combination of two Latin words. The first one, aqua, translates as “water” and the second, marina to “sea”. March’s birthstone belongs to this beautiful stone. It is a fairly durable gemstone with a hardness of 7.5-8.0 on the Mohs Hardness Scale.The pendant measures approximately 45mm wide, 45mm high and 15mm deep. The Aquamarine measures approximately 13mm x 8mm. Comes with either an 16 or 18 inch Silver Omega Cable which compliments the pendant perfectly.

      Created entirely by hand using the silversmithing technique of fold forming, this large luxurious Saving Lives Pendant is a true style statement. Intricate sculptured layers of folded metal carefully enclose the delicate lifeboat at the centre of this piece. The stippled texture of the surrounding metal perfectly reflects the sea foam from the boat. The 3mm facet gemstone is a Fire Opal, reflecting the current RNLI lifeboat. The Omega Cable Chain is available in your choice of either 16” or 18” lengths.The Saving Lives Saltaire Pendant measures 45mm high x 45mm wide x 15mm depth, while the chain is 1.6mm thick. Finished in sterling silver, this was handcrafted by Zoe in her little Stromness workshop.Please note these pendants can take up to four weeks to make so you can be assured you'll be receiving a brand new item.
