Each component is finished with a striking grey/black patina reflecting the colours of lichen growing from the rock. It has been embellished with 9ct yellow gold granules to represent the pebbles caught in the rock carried in by high tides, which effortlessly capture the light.These handmade necklets are made to order so please allow 4-8 weeks for completion.Dimensions:The total length of the necklace comes to 48cm/19 inches. Each component measures 40mm long, 10mm wide and 5mm deep. A delicate lifeboat sits atop the long waves of the calming sea, finished in highly polished sterling silver. This works in perfect contrast to the matte frosted finish of the waves. Designed in collaboration with the Stromness Ladies Lifeboat Guild, each piece in the Saltaire collection reflects the true beauty of the RNLI lifeboats and their volunteers. 10% of each piece sold will be donated directly to the RNLI Trust to help support the hard work they continue to do.The Saltaire Necklet measures 25mm high x 15mm wide.
