Each piece of opal are completely one of a kind with all their unique flashes of colour. This one has has ultra-violet blues, purples and greens when the light hits it. An opal doublet is essentially two layers adhered together. The top layer is a thin slice of real opal and the bottom layer usually consists of a piece of black or dark potch (common) opal. This makes for a more affordable opal, yet still retaining those stunning opal patterns and colours.The pendant measures approximately 33mm wide, 38mm high and 4mm deep (excluding bail).
