      A designer jewellery necklace, this beautiful pendant features a mossy green-blue Aquamarine cabochon. A sculptural sterling silver swirl surrounds the stone as if a wave is crashing onto the shore. A stunning piece to wear and own. Completely hand made in Orkney. Hallmarked in Edinburgh's Assay Office so you can be assured of its quality.An Aquamarine gemstone is named after the colour of seawater. The term aquamarine comes from a combination of two Latin words. The first one, aqua, translates as “water” and the second, marina to “sea”. March’s birthstone belongs to this beautiful stone. It is a fairly durable gemstone with a hardness of 7.5-8.0 on the Mohs Hardness Scale.The pendant measures approximately 45mm wide, 45mm high and 15mm deep. The Aquamarine measures approximately 13mm x 8mm. Comes with either an 16 or 18 inch Silver Omega Cable which compliments the pendant perfectly.

There are intricate folded layers of silver with a London Blue Topaz gemstone nestled in the centre. Inside each earrings’ fold contains vibrant 18ct yellow gold plating just as if the sun is beaming off the ocean’s surface.London Blue Topaz gemstones are a beautiful medium blue colour which I believe mimics the hues of Orkney’s seas perfectly. It’s a versatile and durable stone scoring 8 on the Mohs Hardness Scale.Each stud earring measures approximately 15mm high x 15mm wide x 4mm depth (excluding ear wire).
