The term aquamarine comes from a combination of two Latin words. The first one, aqua, translates as “water” and the second, marina to “sea”. March’s birthstone belongs to this beautiful stone. It is a fairly durable gemstone with a hardness of 7.5-8.0 on the Mohs Hardness Scale.The pendant measures approximately 45mm wide, 45mm high and 15mm deep.
