Each piece of opal are completely one of a kind with all their unique flashes of colour. This one has has ultra-violet blues, purples and greens when the light hits it. An opal doublet is essentially two layers adhered together. The top layer is a thin slice of real opal and the bottom layer usually consists of a piece of black or dark potch (common) opal. This makes for a more affordable opal, yet still retaining those stunning opal patterns and colours.The pendant measures approximately 33mm wide, 38mm high and 4mm deep (excluding bail). The opal doublet measures approximately 13mm long and 8mm wide.
