If you look closely you can see a traditional Orkney Yole in the foreground, a wooden traditional clinker-built boat, native to Orkney. Stromness is particularly important to Zoe as it's been her hometown and workplace since moving to Orkney. Makes a wonderful gift or memory-token to oneself. Completely hand-carved in wax and cast in sterling silver then hallmarked at Edinburgh's Assay Office.The word 'hoose' is Orcadian for house.Dimensions:This contemporary necklace measures approximately 38mm long, 20mm wide and 3mm deep.
